When Pufferbellies Toys & Books—Staunton’s beloved family-owned toy and book shop—was ready to refresh their brand, our goal was to capture the same delight and wonder that fills their shelves.
Owned and operated by mother–daughter team Susan and Erin Blanton, Pufferbellies has been a cornerstone of family fun since 2006, making Staunton a true destination for kids and parents alike.
LovelyPixels delivered a brand identity that’s as playful and heartwarming as the Pufferbellies story itself.
We created a new logo that reflects their whimsical spirit, built out a social media stack to keep their community engaged, and introduced a custom-illustrated Narwhal character—a charming new face for apparel and in-store experiences. The result is a cohesive, imaginative brand that feels right at home in Staunton’s historic Wharf District while also resonating with families across the country.
