Valley Obesity Medicine & Diabetes

Web Design for Medical Practices

A Website Designed to Grow With the Practice

Valley Obesity Medicine & Diabetes wasn’t opening with a small vision. From our earliest conversations, Dr. Li was already thinking beyond himself as a solo practitioner: additional providers, expanded services, educational resources, community programs and, eventually, additional locations.

The website needed to support the practice opening its doors in September 2025, without becoming something VOMD would outgrow six months later.

LovelyPixels approached the website as infrastructure for the business, not simply a launch-day marketing piece.

We built a flexible framework that could expand alongside the practice. Rather than lumping everything VOMD offered onto a handful of broad pages, the site was structured to accommodate dedicated areas for Obesity Care, Diabetes Care, Prevention and an expanding Weight Loss Resource Center.

As the marketing strategy matured, that structure allowed us to add more focused service pages and educational content without rethinking the entire website architecture. The navigation itself was later streamlined around Focus of Care, Resources, About and Contact, keeping an increasingly content-rich website easy for patients to navigate.

Deep dive on specific areas of this project:

That scalability was just as important behind the scenes.

Dr. Li didn’t want his administrative team calling a developer every time they needed to publish an article, update practice information or add a new resource. The site was built in WordPress with repeatable content structures that allowed VOMD’s team to take an active role in managing its digital presence.

LovelyPixels provided website training, developed a three-year content calendar and created a framework that allowed the internal team to continue writing and publishing new educational content themselves. By November, VOMD was preparing for an internal publishing cadence of as many as four new blogs and FAQs per week.

That decision became increasingly important as the practice grew. New service pages could be introduced. Provider information could expand. Patient resources could multiply. Content could be organized around increasingly specific patient questions without requiring a redesign every time the business evolved.

And throughout that growth, we never lost sight of Dr. Li’s original standard for the website: attention to detail mattered.

For a physician building a practice around longer appointments, thoughtful care and a better patient experience, the website needed to communicate that same level of intentionality before a patient ever walked through the door.

The result wasn’t a website built for the VOMD that opened in September 2025.

It was a website built for the practice VOMD intended to become.
